Here’s an overview of work that I’ve done for them.
The Ritz-Carlton opened up a new location in Waikiki, Hawaii, and aimed promote to Japanese tourists.
I led a Japanese marketing team and executed a social media marketing plan centered around Facebook in order to help them build a fanbase of potential guests. I also created some of social content as well.
The city of Yokohama, Japan’s second largest, set out to globally brand itself to potential visitors on Instagram.
After being on the initial strategy and direction team, I continue to co-manage their Instagram marketing efforts that centers around showing people the city through the lenses of actual residents and visitors. In addition, we also executed offline events at Singapore’s Biennale Art Festival and in Hong Kong.
Started in mid-2016 with zero, Yokohama’s account has grown to more than 42k followers and is the largest English municipal account in Japan.
TOKYO METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT
In an effort to better showcase Tokyo’s art and culture to people around the world, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government decided to focus on Instagram.
As a part of the management team, I help internationalize the Japanese content for a global audience, conduct meet-ups and help create photo content.
The account was taken over in 2018 with around 2k followers, and has since grown to 34k in less than a year.
Aloha Royale was a casual fashion brand based in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a part of the core team, I planned the marketing strategy, created brand materials, social content and initiated influencer outreach.
