THE Ritz-Carlton

THE RITZ-CARLTON OPENED UP A NEW LOCATION IN WAIKIKI, HAWAII, AND WANTED TO PROMOTE IT TO JAPANESE TOURISTS. I LED A JAPANESE MARKETING TEAM AND EXECUTED A SOCIAL MEDIA MARKETING PLAN ON FACEBOOK IN ORDER TO HELP THE RITZ-CARLTON RESIDENCES, WAIKIKI BEACH BUILD A FANBASE OF POTENTIAL JAPANESE GUESTS. YOKOHAMA CITY

THE CITY OF YOKOHAMA, JAPAN’S SECOND LARGEST, WANTED TO BRAND ITSELF TO POTENTIAL VISITORS ON INSTAGRAM. I CO-MANAGE THEIR INSTAGRAM MARKETING EFFORTS THAT CENTERS AROUND SHOWING PEOPLE THE CITY THROUGH THE LENS OF ACTUAL VISITORS. WE ALSO PLANNED AND CARRIED OUT OFFLINE EVENTS AT SINGAPORE’S BIENNALE ART FESTIVAL AND IN HONG KONG. STARTED IN MID-2016 WITH ZERO, YOKOHAMA’S ACCOUNT HAS GROWN TO NEARLY 37K FOLLOWERS AND IS THE LARGEST ENGLISH MUNICIPAL ACCOUNT IN JAPAN. FOR MORE INFORMATION, CLICK HERE.

 

TOKYO METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT

IN AN EFFORT TO BETTER TEACH PEOPLE AROUND THE WORLD ABOUT ART AND CULTURE IN TOKYO, THE TOKYO METROPOLITAN GOVERNMENT DECIDED TO FOCUS ON INSTAGRAM TO DO SO. PART OF THE MANAGEMENT TEAM, MY ROLE IS TO HELP INTERNATIONALIZE JAPANESE CONTENT FOR A GLOBAL AUDIENCE, CONDUCT MEET-UPS AND HELP CREATE PHOTO CONTENT. THE ACCOUNT WAS TAKEN OVER IN 2018 WITH AROUND 2K FOLLOWERS AND IS NOW AT MORE THAN 12K IN HALF A YEAR.

ALOHA ROYALE WAS A CASUAL FASHION BRAND FROM HAWAII WHERE I WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR CREATING BRAND MATERIALS, SOCIAL CONTENT AND INFLUENCER OUTREACH.
